I'M GOING ON A CRUISE!!!!!

www.MyVacationCountdown.com Ticker

HOLY SHIT!!!!!
Y'all have NO IDEA

So one of my bffs Shalon messages me on Thursday saying she got the rates for Family and Friends Cast Member Disney Cruises.. and I was like omg because last year she took her parents for SUPER CHEAP!
I told her to go look and get back to me!

Needless to say, an hour later, Shalon, James, Shelley and I were booked for a
which is the NEWEST of the Disney Boats!
We booked 16 days out and got SUCH an amazing deal. I am still blown away at this whole thing! I never thought we would be able to afford a cruise but thanks to a great cast member friend and a few amazing bffs, we are totally pulling this off.
We will be celebrating My and James's 5yr/8yr Anniversary as well as My, Shalon and Shelley's 2 year Friendaversary while on the boat!
We are doing the Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Which means we get to go to St. John/St. Thomas and Puerto Rico! As well as Disney's own private Island Castaway Cay!
All I have done for the past 4 days is read cruise trip reports and *gasp* the Dis Boards looking for Door decoration ideas and such.... I am SOSOSOSOSOSO excited!
The girls and I spend the days Whats Apping back and forth about what we want to do and how to dress and decorate.
James keeps asking for the countdown ;)
it is 12 days in case you were wondering ;)
So far the only excursion James and I have booked is the Bacardi factory tour :)
HELL YEAH!
If you have any advice, I would LOVE to hear it.....
I am just SO excited!

Christmas Cards!!!!

OK, I will admit it....
I am BAD about Christmas Cards!
I take the time and fill them out all nice and pretty
but,
I Never Send Them Out!

James rolls his eyes EVERY YEAR when I pull out the Rubbermaid
shoebox of cards and the green and red and silver pens
and start making my list because he knows
they
will
sit
there!

THIS YEAR!!!
I have vowed to change my Christmas/Holiday Card Ways!

Since this has been my year in Social Media activities and I have taken so many trips to Disney, I figured that I should show off my favorite place to visit with James in our pictures and what better way to incorporate Christmas Cards and Pictures then Shutterfly?

James and I have used Shutterfly a few times before to send away for prints from our wedding and Our 2 big trips to Disney for His Birthday and My Birthday! The Pictures came out fantastic and we have a lot of them in frames around the house! We have had a few of them blown up into larger pictures and the pixelation is not off at all! Which AMAZES me!!! My #AsianBFFNicole has even gotten some calenders and Mugs done from Shutterfly! Love those ideas as gifts!!!!

Ok, so back to Christmas/Holiday Cards.
I want something NOT Religious because, that is not us.
I want something cheery and bright.
I want something that is fun and festive BUT not over the top!
These are the choices I have picked out so far!

Um THIS is adorable and I have a very cute Castle/Kissing picture I could use!

This Is perfect for a Holiday card for those who celebrate all and everything! :) And it is Festive!

FLIPPING ADORABLE!!!! I Love them! Simple and Cute!

Ok, I really like this! 4 spots for 4 Disney park pictures.... Totally a contender!

OMG ! I REALLY Like this one!!!!! This isnt going to be easy! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

I REALLY like this idea... would be a fun way to show off our year to Family & Friends!
Much Cuter then sending a Christmas Letter!

This is the card I had First looked at when I thought about doing Christmas Cards this year! Here is a Mock up of what I had planned.....
I am not a HUGE fan of my picture choices so James and I are still playing with ideas. But this gives us an idea of what we want to do!
We are hoping to get out to the Parks in the next few weeks to grab some pictures to help out with the cards!
But I do know for sure that I will be using Shutterfly for my cards! I can't go wrong with the prices and the quality!

If you are a blogger and would like to receive 50 Free Cards from Shutterfly then PLEASE click here!

Mom's Panel

What a crock. Its a popularity contest in the Disney Form. I am taking this time to point out some of the people that Disney passed on this year that I think were a HUGE mistake!!!!! 20,000 people applied and they took 50??? Um Yeah,,,,, ok Guys! We almost believe that you read EVER SINGLE ENTRY! Bah!!! This is in no way shape or form suggesting that the 50 that did advance are not deserving! I know a few that did and I am HAPPY as HELL for them! I am just saying that Disney missed out on quite a few amazing and special people.... AGAIN! This is not my type of thing but many people i hold dear and close to me are into it so I support them! AGAIN I STATE: This is in no way shape or form saying that the 50 that made it are not deserving because I am sure that most of them are but, Disney has made an error passing up these kick ass folks In My Opinion! @TraciLeigh Honestly...... do I need to say more after a picture like that??
@DCanoli- Mama to two amazing boys and my favorite Frugal Peach!
@ShariJ- The most EPIC ROOM MATE ever and with a baby like that..... #SQUISH
@Shaene_O_Mite- Disney needs to kick themselves in the teeth for not taking Shaene! The dude is exactly what the Mom's Panel is all about! It is their loss cuz that means I get to spend more time with him :)
@MagicalMousecap- She ran the 5K in a Tiara.... a true Princess!!!!!
@JimGarth- Any man who wears a pink glittery tiara and walks around Disney with it on is ok in My book!!!!!

@DizneyDreamer- Dole Whip Addiction and all.... she has made her spot in the Disney community and Disney is FOOLISH to pass up on her! FOOLISH!!!!!!!!

There are a about 19,943 other people that I did not mention that I am sure deserved it as well. I am thoroughly disillusioned with the entire process and hope to god that Disney smartens up because, this year has opened a lot of eyes for people I think ,and while there will always be people applying, they need to re think who and why and how they do this process!!!!!!!!!!

Monday at Disney

Now that Hubs and I are annual pass holders at Walt Disney World we have been trying to make it out there as many times as we can before the summer hits and we are in black out zones! This past Monday we headed down for a few days. Cashed in on a ghetto hotel stay on I-Drive, told the Little Brosef to come meet us for dinner on us and hopped on the bus and away we went! We treated him to Friendly;s because it is right next to the hotel and it makes Cade and I feel like we are home in NH when we eat there!

He is SO SPECIAL!!!! God Love him....I would only ever be related to the strange ones!!!!
This car was in the parking lot of the Econo Lodge that we stayed at.... REALLY??? 30 Bucks a night and you call yourself a Diva?? LOL..... *shakes head*

So James and I made ressies for the free shuttle to Magic Kingdom for the next morning so we could then bus it to Animal Kingdom. James had only been there 2 times and we had done the same 3 things each time so we decided to spend the morning there at least!
We got there and it was a beautiful day! Nice breeze but sunny and warm! we grabbed some tea and a croissant and headed towards Expedition Everest! Neither one of us have ridden it before (I KNOW I KNOW) and figured the 30 minute wait would be worth it!
Such a pretty view!!!!! We were VERY excited to be riding!!!! We love rides and knew this would be a blast!

This was in the cue line for the ride! I threw my quarter in there and made a wish!
We had a GREAT ride! SO much fun and FASTTT!! the Yeti was not working and was told via twitter that it hasn't been for a few months and wont even be fixed before summer starts which is a downer! It was alike a souped up BTMRR and we were huge fans!!!! Cant wait to ride it again!!
We headed towards Dino Land USA next and rode Primevel Whirl... what a WASTE OF A RIDE! Holy hell!... worst Disney ride of all time people! I don't get the point of it.. the seats were SO UNCOMFORTABLE! And the Bars that go over you are even worse and the ride was just the worst. I wont ever ride it again! The only good thing that came out of it was this picture me and James took in line!

We are so cute!!!!! lol..... and modest....Pics like this make me adore him so..... i need to keep this pic near me at all times so when I get mad at him i can just look at this pic ;)
So after that horrid ride we went to grab a bite at Resturauntosaurus. I got a Bacon Burger and James got a BIG ASS HOT DOG and we loaded up at the toppings bar and went and sat on the back patio by Dinosaur (which we skipped because to be honest I REALLY hate that ride)
We talked with a family visiting from new York that were adorable and gave them some tips for Epcot the next day :) I love that!! One of my favorite parts about Disney is helping people who have no idea! We sat out there for about 45 minutes just enjoying the company and the weather! We headed towards the Safari because that is one of our favorites!!!! We always see different animals :) Here are our pics!
The Giraffe was about 15 feet from our Safari Truck ! SO PRETTY up close!! Amazing patterns on their bodies.... They are always my favorite animal to see next to the Hippos!
SO amazing!!! There was a whole family up the hill with a baby!!!!
a Pride of Elephants at the Watering Hole!!! They were spraying each other and having fun! Love It!

The Mama Lion has sumthing up there and was tearing it up but we couldn't see much....

We love the Safari!!! After that we did the walking trail to see the Gorillas!!!! MY MOST FAVORITE THING TO SEE!!!!!! And we were lucky enough to see the brand new baby Gorilla! she was SO TINY and holding on to her mommy the WHOLE time they were out! The pics arent that good but we tried!!

The Daddy was storming around beating his chest while Mama and the little were out so Mama stayed pretty close to the top of the area. We are hoping that the older the baby gets the more Daddy will let us see her!!! She is about 3/4 months right now and such a peanut!!! Cant wait to watch her grow up!!!!!
We decided to head back to the Asia walking trail so I could see the big kitties!! love me some Tigers!!!!
The Komdo Dragon! He isn't aloud to lick me cuz I would die! James says so!!!!
KITTY!!!!!
He looked JUST LIKE Raj from Aladdin!! I wanted to go play with him But James said I couldn't... he doesn't ever let me do anything fun :(
all he did was walk and pace and drink and pace... lol... but he was SO pretty!!!!!!
We left AK after this and headed over to MGM in hoped of seeing the American Idol Experience Finale Show and our Home Boy Sean Klitzner but we didn't last long over there...... we did the Animation Studio, ate some Pizza at Pizza Planet that made me sick the day after and left.... we just wern't feeling it! But Look at who I met and take a look at what I drew at the Animation class!!!!
Me and Belle :) she was super cute and i liked her!! No Man hands and no lipstick on her teeth!

LOOK AT MY SUPER CUTE RAYMOND FROM PRINCESS AND THE FROG!!!!! I think I did a great job and I am SUPER happy that we got to do something from PatF!!!! He isn't perfect be he is adorable :D
So Over to Epcot we head.... rode Spaceship Earth
lol... classy bastards!! Thats us!!!
We headed towards the World and walked thru... just kind of moseying... enjoying the day!! James got Fish and Chips at the stand and we people watched! We walked around to Germany so I could get a Braut and some Cheesecake (Disney Crack I'm TELLING YOU) and charged up our phones ;) We tweet/text/facebook way too much! I can burn thru 2 batteries in about 12 hours at Disney EASY! we travel with both our chargers and an extra battery every trip! I need to call TMobile and complain and get another battery sent!!! lol. OH OH OH! On our way into Epcot we saw the Tron-O-Rail

While I have NO NO NO Desire to see the movie I really like the Look of this! I know people are all pissy about it being an advertisement but i like it :) its a fun change!!!
So we left the park and headed to the TTC ( I BECAME THE MAYOR OF MONORAIL RED VIA FOURSQUARE!!!!) and waited to board our bus back to the motel! We had a super fun day and days like this make me so glad I live in Orlando and get to just spend random days at the park!
I leave you with my favorite picture from the day!

Monday Blurbs

I got the CUTEST reuseable shopping bags at Forever 21 yesterday!!! OMG!!! SO CUTE!! and NAUTICAL!!! And they were only 1.50 each!! I totally think I may go back and get a few more! I am inlove :) and they are WAY cuter then the ones I have from Albertsons....

Also got a really cute scarf for 4 bucks at Forever 21! While I love all their nautical stuff right now I couldnt for the life of me ever fit into their sizes! They only go to a size Large and my girls will NOT NOT NOT fit! But I do like their acessories! Very Cute and affordable! And when they break in a few weeks you dont feel bad because you didnt spend a fortune ;) I may go back and get the coral one too!

I am starting walking again this week. Starting out at 30 minutes for the first week 4 days a week and then upping it each week 15 minutes till I get to 90 minutes. I made a new playlist this morning because I spent most of the walk this morning skipping songs! LOL! It was a nice morning in the 60's and a good walk with downhill and uphill walking :) I would like to do the 5k in October at Disney and some day be able to fo a half marathon so I got my fat ass in gear today !

I wish I had something better to blog about but my life is pretty boring as of late. James and I are heading to Disney a week from tomorrow to celebrat Valentines day since he has to work on Sunday. We have to activate our annual passes and are planning on meeting some twitter friends for some park fun and I am hoping to do the American Idol experience! It will feel good to belt out a song for a crowd again! I miss singing......

I do have some book reviews to post for the next few days for my contest that I need to get my ass in gear for! I have fallen WAY BEHIND in reading lately but plan on fixing that !

VoluntEARing at the Disney 2010 Marathon Weekend Day 1 and Day 2

It has been a little over 3 weeks since we came home from the marathon but oh my GOD did we have fun!! We have been VoluntEARing with Disney for a few years. We started out doing the Special Olympics Events and enjoyed it so much that we have signed up for other events! This was our first marathon though and we can not wait to do another one!

The deal is for most of the events it is based on a points system. For every hour you work you get a point and for every 16 hours you work you get a free one day one park Disney ticket. BUT for some of the bigger events like Marathons you usually get a ticket for each shift you work! For this particular Marathon you got a ticket per marathon shift you worked (Maximum of 2) BUT if you worked a third shift at the Expo then you got the hour credits AND you got a water park ticket!! FABU!!!! Gotta Love that!!

So on the 8th we head out to Disney’s Wide World Of Sports Complex. This place is PACKED!! Our shifts were to work at the Expo from 2-830pm. We went to check in and they give us our boxed lunch and our nametag and T-shirts! They gave us about 20 minutes to  eat and then we headed out onto the Floor. Lunch was your choice of Sammie (Turkey, Roast Beef or Veggie), bag of chips, an apple and a HUGE chocolate chip cookie. James and I were working Packet Pickup. We were giving out bibs and D Tags(electronic tracking) to Full Marathon athletes! We were checking in the ELITE runners! The first 1500 runners! The Shift right before us checked in the #1 Guy who has won the Marathon the past 6 years in a row (including his win this year) It was really fun to meet the runners and their kids and find out where they were from and stuff like that! the Shift went very fast and soon it was time to check into our hotel.

We didn't book in time to stay on property so we stayed just off property in a Comfort In right off of Apopka Vineland. For 60 bucks a night we were good! We checked in around 9 and James went RIGHT to bed seeing as we had left the house to head to Wide World when he got home from work and the poor thing had NO sleep! He was ZONKED! We had to be back at WWoS at 2am for our half marathon shift. I had EVER intention of going to be at a decent time but I got sucked in to Celebrity Rehab and got maybe 1 hour of sleep ;) LOL!oh well!Who needs Sleep??

I NEEDED SLEEP!!! It was SO dismal when we woke up at 1am! It was COLD and I mean in the 20’s in Orlando. We dressed in layers upon layers upon layers with hats, gloves and hoodies and jackets! It wasn't raining yet but it was brewing! We arrived to the Tents at the WWoS and we get our credentials punched, our jacket, our lunch and herded on a bus to EPCOT. We got Super BRIGHT Orange Jackets with the Half Marathon Logos on them and box breakfasts… lol. Well.. they were strange but we were glad we had them. They included 2 snickers bars, a bag of peanuts, an apple, a chocolate chip cookie and a bag of trail mix and a small bottle of water! We tucked the snacks into our front pockets of our windbreakers and sat back to enjoy the warm ride to Epcot. We were scheduled to work the Baggage tents for this Half portion of the Marathon. James and I decided that instead of handling the bags we would stand outside and direct people where to go….. why we decided this in the 20 degree weather with rain and snow coming I have NO idea but we did! And we had so much fun! OMFG we were SO COLD and numb most of the time but We had so much fun! It was chaos and crazy and loud and busy but the only thing I would have changed was the temperatures! It was FREEZING!!!! It Sleeted and Rained and Hailed and Snowed! All in a 4 hour time slot!!! IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA!! You all know how I feel about snow….. not my friend! 21 years of New Hampshire winters were PLENTY for this chubby girl! But we soldiered through it! We were freezing cold and dancing to keep warm but we had a BLAST! I got to meet so many people. I got to meet Katie because she was running! She prolly thought I was a crazy lady because I ran up to her and yelled KATIE!!! LOL.. she looked at me funny and I said “ I’m Rora from twitter” Thank God she smiled because if it wasn't her I would have felt like a HUGE jackass! LOL! She looked adorable in her running gear and pig tails and I hugged her and wished her luck! It was BUSY as BANANAS for a good 2 hours with the sea of the Half Marathon runners going thru to their corrals! But I danced and laughed and made the most of it! Once the Racers were all thru the corrals we just hung around talking. We made it over to the runners tent to watch the race on the big screen for a half hour or so until our bus came to pick us up at 630 AM to head back to Wide World of Sports. We tried to steal a bagel or orange but the Nazi's in the tent wouldn't let us even though a TON of other people were doing it but… oh well :) Around 615 we went back to our area and got debriefed by our Team Leader whose name I can not remember but I called him Adam because he reminded me of Adam from that show Half & Half LOL…. I actually called him Adam once and felt REALLY bad but it wasn't in a mean way! We got on the NICE WARM bus for the 5 minute trip to Wide World of Sports. We checked out of our shift and received Sports Enthusiast Pins, Toy Story T-shirts, Little Blue Drawstring backpacks, another”breakfast” bag and our one day one park tickets! WE LOVE free swag :D We headed back to our hotel in the FREEZING cold and went RIGHT TO BED!! lol… we both passed the hell out! Good Hard WARM sleep since we turned the heat on to 90 ;) Hell… we didn't have to pay the heating bill…LOL

We slept till about 5 and headed out to grab some Pizza at Cici’s and ended up talking with a family who was running the full the next day and were asking questions about VoluntEARing and how the half went. It was really fun! We headed back and went to sleep because we had the 6am shift the next day for the Full!

      Almost The Birthday Princess

Yep.... this friday I will be the Birthday Princess! I am turning 31 years old on the 22nd of January. And I am not excited. My30th year was NOT fantastic! I lost a LOT last year and I know I should be looking ahead and trying to make my 31st year better but.. that is hard for me to do. I am trying my hardest but it is SO slow coming and I am doing my best. Nothing can be as bad as 2009 was for me!
BUT I am still a kiddo at heart so I have decided to make a birthday list :) Just because! It is my blog and I am almost the birthday Princess so I do what I want!!!
      ~Uggs
I used to have a pair of Slip on Clogs that I LOVED but working in an ice skating area KILLED them and I had a huge hole in the bottom and Hubs made me toss them away! AND that was 3 years ago so time for a replacement! I want either (or both) the Classic Short Boot in Light Brown or the Brown or Lavender Moccasins.

      ~IHome Alarm Clock
I am sick of using my blackberry and I need a place to put my ipod so I dont lose it which I tend to do a whole lot in the house ;) since it is a 2nd Generation 1gig little thing I tend to put it down and poof!

      ~Disney Annual Pass

This is a want not a need.....*sigh* We have a lot of family visiting this year which means trips to the parks and to be able to just hop on down there on a random tuesday with James would make me super duper happy!!!

      ~Bare Minerals
I LOVE my Bare Minerals. I have worn nothing but BE for the past 5 years!! Their formula works AMAZINGLY with my hyperhydrosis and My face hardly ever breaks out (except when I eat entire bags of mini recees cups but we wont talk about that *lastweek*) and my pores say THANK YOU for not using liquid foundation! lol!

I love me some gift cards and shopping!!! I am one of those people who does not mind getting gft cards because it shows me that you want me to get what I want!

So For now... these items top my list!
